Religious
Education for Youth
The
Parish School of Religion is for all children and teens of our parish. Pre-registration
is required before attending a session. To accommodate all ages several programs

Preschool
- Grade 6
Wednesday
Evening: 6:15 - 7:30
Children
are accepted into the preschool classes the September before they will be entering
kindergarten. Consistent attendance is expected from those who attend so that
they will receive a well rounded catechesis. Parents are expected to be part
of the program by attending parent gatherings, open house, and volunteering
to assist with traffic and gym supervision and other needs which comprise the
program.
Grades
7, 8 and High School
Sunday
Evening: 6:00 - 8:00
This
program meets twice each month during the school year. The program for Grade
7 and 8 is separate from that of the high school. Parents are expected to be
part of the program by attending parent gatherings and volunteering to assist
with the many efforts involved in providing this program.
Catechists
Catechists
are people of faith who wish to share this faith by teaching the young people
in the above programs. Catechists are always needed for all the age groups.
All adults are welcome to consider this ministry.
Children's
Liturgy of the Word
During
the weekend Masses children from kindergarten through grade 3 are dismissed
during the Liturgy of the Word for a sharing of the readings on their level.
Any child is welcome to participate. No registration is required. Adults are
always needed to facilitate these sessions.
